FSU lands in South Carolina with the deal Kerr Thomas

Kerr Thomas move to Florida status. the previous South Carolina A defensive intervention announced his decision to go home and play with the Seminoles via social media.

Thomas was a FSU-bound at one point in time as a recruiter on Miami Central High. He ended up going to South Carolina instead and had a fruitful five-year career with Gamecocks. Thomas (6-3, 275) has 142 tackles, 19.5 TFL and 8.5 bags in 44 career matches.

Thomas is expected to have one year remaining of eligibility in Florida, where he will push for starting work as either a defensive finish or a fast indoor defender after taking both roles in South Carolina. He will likely play both outside and inside at FSU, but he’ll be mainly working on the edge.

FSU continues stocking SEC’s experienced defenders via the relocation portal. They have already added and signed DE Jermaine Johnson (Georgia) As well as CB Jarkis McClellon (Arkansas).
